Chemal ethoxylated alcohols offer excellent detergency, wetting, emulsification, dispersion, solubilizing and defoaming properties. They are ideally suited for use in metal cleaning, industrial and institutional cleaners, household cleaning, products, hand cleaners, various textile processes and speciality applications.
Chemal 2EH-18/80 is a nonionic surfactant belonging to the group of ethoxylated, branched, short chain alcohols (INCI name: PEG-18 2-ethylhexyl ether). The Chemal 2EH series is based on a 2-ethylhexyl alcohol. Due to the strong detergency, solubilizing and wetting capacity of these alcohols, they are ideal ingredients of household, industrial and institutional cleaning products.
Chemal 2EH-18/80 is a clear liquid with an active substance content of approximately 80% with a water diluent to facilitate easier handling. The product is soluble in water exhibiting an aqueous cloud point of 100°C. This chemistry exhibits a Draves Wetting speed of 2.4 seconds (25°C / 0.1% aqueous). It can be used in combination with other nonionics as well as cationic and anionic surfactants.
Chemal 2EH-18/80 is characterized by a flash foam making it better suited for low PSI and soak cleaner applications.
PCC Chemax Inc. is specialized in the production of surfactants and chemical specialist additives used, i.a. in the metallurgical, textile, refinery and mining, and plastics industry.
