Roksol N87 is a low-foaming, non-ionic surfactant used in the tanning industry. It is used for soaking and degreasing leather at any stage of the tanning process. The product is in the form of a homogeneous liquid with a colour ranging from colourless to pale yellow. It shows excellent solubility in cold and hot water. It is also soluble in methanol and ethanol, kerosene, petrol, acetone, carbon tetrachloride, mineral and vegetable oils.
