ROKAnol® O10 belongs to non-ionic surfactants from the group of ethoxylated fatty alcohols (INCI name: Oleth-10) of hydrophilic character. At room temperature it has the consistency of a liquid paste and shows good solubility in water. It contains about 100% active substance. The product is made from natural raw materials, which makes it highly biodegradable.
ROKAnol® O10 hydrophilic-lyophilic balance (HLB) at a value of 12 results in a hydrophilic character of the product and makes it suitable as a component of emulsifying compositions, enabling the formation of O/W emulsions (oil in water). These properties allow the product to be used in plant protection products and cutting liquids.
The product does not have an adverse effect on popular construction materials, it is widely used as a component of emulsifying packages in semi-synthetic formulations of cooling lubricants, as well as an emulsifier in emulsifying oil compositions.
ROKAnol® O10 has moderate wetting properties, which makes it a part of washing and cleaning compositions commonly used in households and can be used in professional washing agents for fabrics.
ROKAnol® O10 is a component of cosmetic emulsions (creams, lotions, moisturisers) and detergents for household chemicals. It acts as a dispersant and softener in washing compositions. It can be used as a component of hair colouring and styling products, as well as an emulsifier or dispersing agent for dyes.
The dispersing properties of ROKAnol® O10 are used in the paint and lacquer industry, where it acts as an additive improving the compatibility of the pigment and dye base. In addition, it is a component of compositions used for polishing various surfaces (e.g. furniture care aerosols or polishing pastes for the automotive sector).
