ROKAnol D7 is a non-ionic surfactant, belonging to the group of ethoxylated fatty alcohols with the INCI name: Deceth-7. The product co-forms a group of surfactants based on decyl alcohol. The commercial product contains over 99.5% active ingredient and solidifies at approximately 12°C. It has an HLB parameter of approx. 13.1. ROKAnol D7 is a clear or turbid liquid with a colour of max. 50 on the Hazen scale at 50°C. ROKAnol D7 is completely soluble in water.
ROKAnol D7 is mainly used in preparations used for cleaning, washing and washing. It is used both in the industrial and institutional sectors as well as in households in the form of finished products.
Due to its very good detergent, wetting and emulsifying properties, ROKAnol D7 is used as a basic surfactant in liquid and powder detergents, dishwashing liquids, household and technical cleaners and hand cleaners. It can be used in environments with oxidising agents, reducing agents and hard water. It is active in cold water, acidic and neutral baths as well as in diluted alkalis. ROKAnol D7 can be used in mixtures with other non-ionic additives and in mixtures with anionic and cationic surfactants. In a mixture with alkyl sulphates and alkyl aryl sulfonates, it shows a synergistic cleaning effect.
ROKAnol D7 is furthermore used in fibre pre-treatment processes as a component of a formulation removing oil stains (mineral oils) from fabrics/knits, which result from industrial knitting and weaving processes. Due to its cotton wetting properties, it can be used as a component of a bleaching composition for raw knitted and woven cotton fabrics. Additionally, due to its good wetting properties, the product is used in the agrochemical industry, especially in formulations of EC, EW, SC, SE types.
