Rostabil DPDP is a secondary antioxidant in the form of a homogeneous liquid with a characteristic, delicate fragrance. It effectively prevents degradation of polymeric materials, eliminating the effect of yellowing of finished products. Rostabil DPDP stabilizes the polymer processing process, providing effective thermal protection. At the same time, it significantly enhances the colour stability of pigment-containing materials and provides transparency to non-pigmented products.

Properties and applications

Product application advantages:

  • eliminates the effect of yellowing of materials during processing,
  • enhances the colour stability of polymeric materials containing pigments,
  • provides transparency in non-pigmented materials,
  • prevents degradation processes during thermal processes,
  • acts synergistically with amine and phenolic stabilizers,
  • one of the components of "mixed metals" mixtures in PVC processing,
  • high hydrolytic stability,
  • no negative effect on the mechanical properties of the material.

 Applications:

  • C.A.S.E. (coatings, adhesives, sealants, elastomers),
  • construction (roofing and roofing membranes, construction materials, window frames, PVC pipes),
  • plastics (production of synthetic rubber, SBR, technical films),
  • textiles (coated fabrics, artificial leather),
  • electronics (cables and wires),
  • furniture (polyurethane foam for the production of mattresses),
  • motorization (powder paints, acoustic insulation).
