Rokopol® F3600 is a polyether polyol, a block/statistical copolymer of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide based on glycerine. It exists in the form of homogeneous, clear liquid. It contains antioxidants (excluding BHT). It has hydroxyl value within the range of 45–50 mgKOH/g, and dynamic viscosity within the range of 540-620 mPas.
The main application advantages of Rokopol F3600:
the possibility of producing foams with densities from 16 to 80 kg / m3 with a hardness of 1 - 5kPa and flexibility up to 50%,
application of the product enables the production of foam with a tensile strength of over 60 kPa and an elongation at break up to 100%,
the product can be used together with other polymeric polyols to optimize features such as foam hardness, openness and elongation at break,
the polyol is characterized by high scorch resistance.
The most common applications of Rokopol F3600:
used for the production of flexible foams and conventional foams with various parameters,
polyol used in the furniture industry for the production of mattresses and pillows,
product used for the production of printing inks.
Rokopol® F3600 is used for production of flexible polyurethane foams using the continuous system (slabstock) or for periodic production (batch). Using Rokopol® F3600 and properly selected additives (catalysts, silicones, foaming agents), blocks of hardened flexible foam with rectangular cross-section and height up to 130 cm can be produced.
Main advantages of application of Rokopol® F3600:
possibility to manufacture foams of density within the range 16-80 kg/m3, hardness within the range 1-5 kPa, and elasticity up to 50%,
tear resistance of the foam is above 60kPa and relative elongation at rupture up to 100%,
used together with other polymeric polyols in order to optimize features such as: foam hardness, openness and relative elongation at rupture,
high resistance to scorch.
Most popular applications of Rokopol® F3600:
flexible foams and standard foams with various parameters.
mattresses, pillows, upholstered furniture, as comfortable product,
possibility to obtain flexible foams and standard foams with very good parameters of, among other, density, elasticity and tear resistance,
high resistance to scorch,
possibility to use in applications with other polyols in order to optimize features such as: foam hardness, openness and relative elongation at rupture,
used in furniture sector as comfortable material for production of mattresses and pillows,
Glycerine-based block copolymer on ethylene oxide and propylene oxide
Ethoxylated and propoxylated glycerol
Glycerol poly(oxyethylene, oxypropylene) ether
Glycerol, ethylene oxide, propylene oxide polymer
Propylene oxide, ethylene oxide, glycerol adduct
