Rokopol® V700 is glycerine-based polyether polyol, polyoxyalkylene triol. It exists in the form of homogeneous, clear liquid. It contains antioxidants (excluding BHT). It has hydroxyl value within the range of 225-250 mgKOH/g, and its dynamic viscosity is 220-270 mPas at temp. 25°C.
Rokopol® V700 is used for production of viscoelastic polyurethane foams using the continuous system (slabstock) and for periodic production (batch). Using Rokopol® V770, reactive polyols and properly selected additives (catalysts, silicones, foaming agents), viscoelastic blocks of rectangular cross-section and height up to 70 cm can be produced.
Main advantages of application of Rokopol® V700:
possibility to manufacture foams of density within the range 40-80 kg/m3 and hardness within the range 2-5kPa,
tear resistance of the foam is above 50kPa and relative elongation at rupture above 60%,
foam recovery time 1-10 s.
Most popular applications of Rokopol® V700:
viscoelastic foams (Memory Foam) and polyurethane foams,
Glycerine based polyoxyalkylene triol, propoxylated glicerol
