Rokryl KSP is an aqueous dispersion of acrylic-styrene copolymer with a solid content of about 50% by mass. The product is a viscous, white to cream-coloured liquid. Its solidification point is about 0°C. Special care should be taken when storing the product so as not to cool it below its freezing point. This results in the loss of the product's functional properties.
Thanks to the appropriate composition of the polymer, Rokryl KSP has very good adhesive properties, thanks to which it is easy to apply and adheres to the applied surfaces, such as paper, wood, glass or metal. Thus, the product is used as the main, film-forming component in the production of water-based adhesives for paper and wood, as well as self-adhesive tapes and labels. It can also be used in the footwear, leather and packaging industries. The advantage of Rokryl KSP is also the lack of classification as a dangerous product, which makes it environmentally friendly. The product does not contain APEO-type emulsifiers (alkoxylated nonylphenols).
