ROKAmid RZ5P6 is an ethoxylated and propoxylated ethanolamide of fatty acids of rapeseed oil. It belongs to the group of non-ionic surfactants. The product is in the form of a dark coloured liquid. It is highly soluble in water, methanol, ethanol and benzene. The content of active substance in the product is high and amounts to almost 100%.
Due to the presence of oxypropylene group in the ROKAmid RZ5P6 molecule, it is characterized by reduced foaming properties. The product is used mainly as a component of emulsifying and lubricating compositions in the leather industry. Compositions based on ROKAmid RZ5P6 are used for primary oiling of hides obtained by chrome-tanning and miscellaneous tannage, in particular all types of leather for footwear, clothing and gloves.
The product can also be used as a component of cleaning formulations for industrial and institutional cleaning.
