Rokopol® MH2000 is a reactive polyether polyol with increased functionality. It exists in the form of liquid free of mechanical impurities, may be opalescent. It contains antioxidants (excluding BHT). Rokopol® MH2000 has hydroxyl value within the range of 28–31 mgKOH/g and dynamic viscosity 1200-1700 mPas at temp. 25°C.
Rokopol® MH2000 is used for production of high resilience (HR) flexible polyurethane foams using the continuous system (slabstock), periodic production (batch) and production of moulded foams. Using polyol MH2000, reactive polymeric polyols and properly selected additives (catalysts, silicones, foaming agents), blocks of high resilience (HR) flexible foam with rectangular cross-section and height up to 120 cm can be produced.Increased functionality of the polyols prevents the foam trapezoid effect during seasoning. It reduces production scrap to the minimum. The polyol helps to obtain better parameters of the foams and higher comfort.
Main advantages of application of Rokopol® MH2000:
ensures high comfort factor of the manufactured foam,
possibility to manufacture foams of density within the range 21-80 kg/m3, hardness within the range 1-5kPa, and elasticity up to 65%,
tear resistance of the foam is above 60kPa and relative elongation at rupture up to 80%,
used together with other polymeric polyols it optimizes foam features such as: hardness, openness and relative elongation at rupture,
used as the main polyol for production of extra soft high resilience (HR) co-elastic foams with densities from 22 to 28kg/m3.
Most popular applications of Rokopol® MH2000:
flexible foams and standard foams with various parameters,
as comfortable material for production of mattresses and pillows,
possibility to obtain flexible foams with very good parameters of, among other, density, elasticity and tear resistance,
possibility to use in applications with other polyols in order to optimize foam features such as: hardness, openness and relative elongation at rupture,
used in the furniture and automotive industries as a comfortable material.
PCC Rokita SA is one of the largest chemical companies in Poland as well as Central and Eastern Europe. Its activity includes the production of chloroalkali, polyether polyols, polyalkylene glycols and phosphorus derivatives.
