Rokopol® MH2012 is a dispersion of the styrene-acrylonitrile copolymer in the reactive alkoxylated triol, where the copolymer content is 12%. It exists in form of white, nontransparent liquid. It contains antioxidants (excluding BHT). It has hydroxyl value within the range of 27-30 mgKOH/g, and its dynamic viscosity is within the range of 1500-2500 mPas at temp. 25°C.
Rokopol® MH2012 is used for production of high resilience (HR) flexible polyurethane foams using the continuous system (slabstock), for periodic production (batch) and moulded foams. Using polyol Rokopol® MH2012, reactive polymeric polyols and properly selected additives (catalysts, silicones, foaming agents), high resilience (HR) foam blocks with rectangular cross-section and height up to 120 cm can be produced. Foam is characterized by high resistance to a trapezoid effect (cold-flow) and increased hardness.
Main advantages of application of Rokopol® MH2012:
high comfort factor of the manufactured foams (SAG factor),
possibility to manufacture foams of density within the range 23-80 kg/m3, hardness within the range 2-5kPa, and elasticity up to 65%,
tear resistance of the foam is above 60kPa and relative elongation at rupture up to 70%,
possibility of using the polyol with reactive polymeric polyols in order to, e.g. increase foam hardness, remove foam openness and to increase block height.
