Isocyanates are chemical compounds used to produce polyurethane polymers, adhesives, sealants, coatings, varnishes and elastomers. They are highly reactive volatile substances that easily enter into reactions with many compounds. For instance, they react with polyols, or even with water, which is why their use requires particular caution. The PCC Group offers products from the polyol group which are marked as “isocyanate reduction or absence”. This means that their application allows us to considerably reduce or eliminate the use of isocyanates.
