The climate crisis is forcing us to take decisive steps to reduce the amount of energy we use, but also to look for alternative, renewable energy sources. One such method is the generation of energy from sunlight. A field called photovoltaics deals with this process. It is an environmentally friendly alternative energy source that can efficiently power small everyday appliances (watches, calculators) and heat buildings.
The key to this technology are photovoltaic cells, which are assembled into modules and then into larger panels. Their construction requires the manufacture of specialised components and chemical raw materials. The latter are available in the offer of the PCC Group.
