The rapid development of industry, and thus the increasing consumption of various raw materials, entail the generation of enormous amounts of waste contaminating the environment. At the same time, the consumption and price of the basic raw materials required to produce them are also rising. Consequently, the producers of substances and chemicals discern the growing potential of recycling and waste reduction technologies. However, the processing and further use of waste requires specific technological processes as well as the use of specialised raw materials, additives and chemical formulations.
The PCC Group offers chemicals used in production processes, where the basic raw materials necessary to produce them are acquired from recycling. They bear a mark reading “Production based on recycled materials ”. Examples include adhesives designed for bonding SBR granulates derived from recycled car tyres, or rebond foam adhesives produced from ground mattresses.
