Fatty amine alkoxylates are cationic surfactants from group of surface active agents. Depending on the degree of ethoxylation (the process of producing surfactants, which reduce liquid surface tension, by adding ethylene oxide to an alcohol or a phenol), their ionic character changes. An increase in ethylene oxide content imparts on the product stronger non-ionic properties in aqueous solutions.
Thanks to their properties, they can be used for example as emulsifiers, dispersants, antistatic agents, corrosion inhibitors, and detergents. They are intended for the metallurgic, textile, and plastics industries, but also for industrial washing and cleaning, and for the detergents industry.
