AMINES - structure and production

Amines are defined as chemical compounds that contain an amine group in their structure. This group are organic derivatives of ammonia. Amines can be formed in various reactions, which produce primary, secondary, tertiary, or even quaternary amines. Each of them is distinguished by a characteristic structure and properties. Amines are basic compounds, but their basicity depends on what substituents are attached to the nitrogen atom.

Amines and amine-based products are characterised by good cleaning, softening, foam forming, and wetting properties, etc. They are used in products designed for the construction industry, industrial washing and cleaning, extraction industry, detergents, textiles, and many others.
