pH regulators are agents for increasing or lowering the pH value.
pH regulators are added in small amounts, in order to change product properties. They operate as modifiers of alkalinity and acidity in food products, cosmetics and household chemicals. They are also used for correcting the pH value in water systems of industrial plants, where they prevent the accumulation of sediment.
