Lubricating oils are mixtures of base oils and various types of chemical additives. Synthetic base oils are those which have been produced with bases of synthetic (artificial) origin.
Fully synthetic oils are produced by synthesis reactions, such as condensation, polymerisation, esterification, Fischer-Tropsch synthesis (GTL), using various raw materials, for example natural gas or crude oil. The second group consists of synthetic technology oils, which are most often produced by hydrocracking (HC Synthese). In fact, they are made of ingredients of mineral origin, but processing technologies (hydroisomerism and hydrocracking) allow international institutions to qualify them as synthetic oils.
PCC Group offers a wide range of base oils used, among others, for hydraulic fluids, compressors, cutting fluids, industrial gears, as well as in the textile industry.
